Game - Design

You will learn how to create games, apps, and simulations for use in the games industry, entertainment, education, and beyond. Conestoga's Game - Design program provides industry-standard software and technology access and exposure to some of Canada's fastest-growing tech companies. Taught by faculty with extensive experience in the game world, this program is designed to provide you with strong skills and knowledge for game design, gameplay programming, and employment across various parts of the production pipeline. Through individual and collaborative projects, the program offers you the opportunity to build a portfolio of original work and a field placement to help you take your first steps into the growing game industry. Once you graduate, you can apply for roles in the industry such as computer systems developer and programmer, software developer and programmer, web developer and programmer, graphic designer and illustrator.
