The Computer Engineering Technology program at Conestoga College is a three-year advanced diploma that prepares students for careers in electronics as it relates to computer systems. You will gain a solid education in the fundamentals of electronics alongside a specialization in computer technology, covering areas such as microprocessor hardware and software, data communications, networking, and computerized industrial processes.
The program is approximately half lab work and half theory, giving graduates a distinct advantage in the practical implementation of systems, software, and circuits. You will have access to modern laboratories equipped with cutting-edge instrumentation including oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers, and soldering stations, as well as computer labs with software for design, simulation, development, and troubleshooting.

Curriculum and Course Modules
The Computer Engineering Technology curriculum combines a strong foundation in electronics fundamentals and mathematics with specialized courses in computer hardware, software, and networking.
