Private Law (Thesis)

The thesis‑based Master of Private Law program is designed to enable students to specialize in areas of private law that evolve alongside the commercial world. The curriculum provides rigorous analytical training, equipping students to address the most current legal issues encountered in practice. The program is intensive and expects students to contribute to the field through academic research and scientific publications. Instruction is delivered in Turkish. The program contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education). Admission requires a bachelor’s degree in law and a minimum ALES score of 55 in the relevant score type (or equivalent GRE/GMAT), with evaluation calculated as 70% ALES and 30% undergraduate GPA; applicants holding doctoral or specialized qualifications may be exempt from ALES as per regulations. Graduates are prepared for advanced legal practice, academic careers, and specialized roles in public and private sectors.Learning Outcomes

6. Improve their skills of collecting, categorising, interpreting, and announcing data in respect of Public Law. 
7. Acquire proficiency in scientific thinking and solving ethical issues in respect of Private Law. 

Career Opportunities

The Programme enables students to specialise in Private Law. In this way, they can apply for a PhD Programme, and pursue an academic career, or work in other areas putting the knowledge they gained into their professional life.
