Overview
Cartoons and animation have become a form of expression that has managed to find a place in almost every area of our lives in parallel with the rapidly developing digital communication technologies today. Cartoons and animation are interdisciplinary art branches that allow the use of many different visual-visual disciplines and techniques.
In this direction, Alanya University Cartoon and Animation Department, which accepted its first students in the 2021-2022 academic year, aims to train specialized artists and experts in the field by supporting theoretical knowledge with practical courses in an interdisciplinary learning environment. Cartoon and
Animation Department students will graduate by completing 240 ECTS credits at the end of their undergraduate education. Cartoon and Animation experts/artists who graduate from the department will be able to find employment opportunities in many different sectors such as communication, advertising, education, and health. Animation production companies, video and computer game production companies, media production companies, television institutions, advertising agencies, and communication departments of public and private sector institutions are some of the institutions where graduates can find employment. In addition, graduates of the department can also work as academicians within universities.
