As a field where communication and visual arts come together, the Department of Communication and Design provides education to its students on subjects such as communication theories, graphic design, photography, animation, film production, web design, and enables students to develop their theoretical knowledge and skills. At the same time, our students gain real-world experience through practical studies. The department mainly covers the subjects of graphic design and visual communication design, and aims to teach students the basics of design while also providing them with many different skills such as creative thinking, problem solving, teamwork, communication skills, critical thinking, and effective use of technology. Supporting students to have successful careers after graduation and to make a difference in the sector through a versatile and comprehensive curriculum is among the primary missions of the department.

Considering the importance that communication and design disciplines have gained with digitalization, there is a wide range of job options for our graduates. Advertising agencies, media organizations, the field of corporate communication, and various sectors related to the department offer work opportunities for our graduates.

All courses in the Department of Communication and Design at Alanya University are conducted 100% in English. This allows our students to be active in the international arena and to benefit from international collaborations.
