Program Overview: MSc Energy Technologies and Economics

The Energy Technologies and Economics programme at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) provides the technical, economic, and managerial skills required for the modern development of the energy sector. Curriculum and Modules

The MSc Energy Technologies and Economics curriculum integrates advanced engineering concepts with economic and managerial approaches. Energy Resources and Technologies

Covers energy production and consumption technologies including renewable and conventional sources, energy transmission, distribution, and accumulation systems.

Energy Economics and Market Regulation

Explores the operational principles of the energy resources market, critical assessment of interconnections between management and regulation of energy markets, and energy policy.

Energy Systems Planning and Management

Focuses on the structure, sources, management, planning, reliability, security, and strategy of energy systems, including multi-criteria decision-making and simulation modelling.

Investment and Financial Analysis in Energy

Develops skills in economic analysis and evaluation, financial management, accounting, and the formulation of economically substantiated engineering solutions for the energy sector.

Sustainable Energy Development

Master's Thesis Research
