Environmental Engineering Bachelor
Main Campus, Canada
Overview
Environmental Engineering prepares students to contribute in a meaningful way to making our planet a cleaner and healthier place to live. If you are interested in environmental science, biology, or chemistry and would like to have a career where you can apply these interests to solving environmental problems, you should consider Environmental Engineering. An Environmental Engineering degree will provide access to the engineering profession in Canada and abroad with a range of challenging and rewarding career opportunities. Multidisciplinary solutions require broadly educated engineers with communication, management and teamwork skills, which are our priority too!
The field of Environmental Engineering has evolved from primarily treating industrial and municipal air and water emissions, to pollution prevention, in which engineers find innovative ways to reduce human effects on the environment at an earlier stage in processes that create waste. Because of the changing nature of the field, our curriculum emphasizes the underlying principles, while developing applications commonly encountered by practicing engineers.
