Program Overview: Translation, Interpreting and AI MA

The MA Translation, Interpreting and AI at the University of Surrey is an internationally recognised programme that combines rigorous training in translation and interpreting with a strong focus on cutting-edge technology, including neural machine translation and generative AI. Delivered by the Centre for Translation Studies (CTS), which has over four decades of experience in postgraduate education and research training, the course prepares you to thrive in a rapidly evolving language industry.

The programme equips you with core translation, interpreting and technological skills, alongside expertise in terminology management, note-taking for consecutive interpreting, transcreation, localisation, audiovisual translation and remote interpreting.
