Curriculum and Modules
The M.Sc. Autonomous Systems curriculum is structured across four semesters and integrates knowledge from computer science, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. Students build a strong theoretical foundation before specializing through elective modules and completing a master's thesis in the final semester.
Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
6 ECTSCovers foundational and advanced methods in machine learning and AI, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and their application to autonomous decision-making systems.
Robotics and Sensor Systems
6 ECTSExplores the principles of robotic systems including kinematics, dynamics, sensor integration, and actuator control for both stationary and mobile robots.
Control and Automation Engineering
6 ECTSFocuses on control theory, feedback systems, and automation techniques essential for designing autonomous systems that respond adaptively to their environments.
Signal Processing and Information Technology
6 ECTSProvides knowledge in digital signal processing, data acquisition, and information extraction techniques used in autonomous perception and communication systems.
Decision Making and Planning
6 ECTSCovers algorithms and methods for autonomous decision-making, path planning, and optimization under uncertainty in complex real-world scenarios.
Master's Thesis
30 ECTSAn independent research project conducted in the final semester, allowing you to apply your acquired knowledge to a cutting-edge topic in autonomous systems under faculty supervision.
