In this Film degree, you will study a mix of classic and contemporary cinema, covering genres like sci-fi, horror, noir, and animation. The program focuses on building critical thinking skills and offers extensive resources, including a library collection of over 5,800 global films and visits to archives to view early cinema.

Students can gain hands-on experience by joining student societies for filmmaking and radio, where you can learn directing, camera work, and sound editing. You can also volunteer at a cinema to learn projection and team leadership, or submit your own projects to the yearly student film festival.

Travel opportunities are extensive, with options to study abroad in Europe and Asia, including a specific four-week summer course at Dongguk University in Seoul. You also have the flexibility to take modules from other departments, such as English and Music.
