Instruction combines interactive workshops, seminars and collaborative projects with applied learning that requires students to tackle real‑world problems, produce podcasts, write policy briefs and design campaign websites. Research and inquiry develop advanced analytical skills through hands‑on projects in modules such as Adventures in Research Methods, while guest speakers and field opportunities provide direct exposure to practitioners, policymakers and community leaders. Assessment comprises essays, policy papers, reflective journals, group podcasts, campaign websites, presentations, debates and assessed conversations, alongside an independent research project in the final year, all designed to mirror professional practice and build confidence in public speaking, digital communication and policy design.
