Learning is delivered through a combination of intensive workshops, seminars and collaborative production cycles that simulate professional film environments, allowing students to apply theory to practice while receiving regular feedback. Technical instruction covers operation of ARRI, Blackmagic and Sony cinema cameras, lighting rigs, sound recording equipment and industry‑standard editing suites, complemented by modules on scriptwriting, pitching and production planning. Throughout the programme, students participate in field trips to major festivals, attend guest lectures from award‑winning practitioners and engage in cross‑disciplinary collaborations, which enrich the learning experience and broaden industry insight. Assessment combines practical deliverables—such as short films, storyboards, budgets and mood boards—with written reflective commentaries, peer assessments and oral presentations, ensuring that knowledge is evaluated both through produced work and critical analysis within a structured grading framework. Grades are determined by a balanced portfolio of graded assignments, including a final capstone film, a research essay and a professional placement log, all assessed against predefined learning outcomes and industry benchmarks.
