The University's priority has always been student inclusion, with concrete actions towards gender equality and offering dedicated support to students with disabilities and Specific Learning Disabilities. Through the establishment of the Office for Sustainable Actions, the University commits to following the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Student inclusion has always been a priority for the University. The Gender Equality Plan (GEP) has been adopted, and the University of Pavia has set the strategic objective of strengthening gender equality through a set of concrete and coherent actions. Furthermore, the University of Pavia offers support, with dedicated services covering all aspects of university life, to students with disabilities and specific learning disabilities (DSA). In recent years, there has been a growing sensitivity towards sustainable development issues. Thus, the Office for Sustainable Actions (OSA) has been established, through which the University commits to follow the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda.
Features
Aligning with the path taken by the best international universities, the Rector of the University of Pavia, on February 25, 2020, established OSA – Office for Sustainable Actions, the working group on sustainability, with the aim of supporting and disseminating the University's strategies in this field. This is achieved through the collection, development, and implementation of existing best practices as well as the promotion of new initiatives, the drafting of programmatic documents and reporting, and their dissemination within the university community, the city, and the region, making clear the principles of social responsibility that govern UniPv's strategic vision.
