Graduate Diploma of Theological Studies

If you have completed a Bachelor’s degree in another discipline and want to learn more about theology, then this Graduate Diploma just might be for you. The Graduate Diploma of Theological Studies is designed for those with no previous background in theological studies, who wish to develop their knowledge, are preparing for, or are involved in pastoral ministry, or simply want to grow in understanding and appreciation of their faith. In this program, you will learn about Scripture, Church History, Moral Theology and the Sacraments of the Church.

Learning outcomes

• Upon successful completion of the Graduate Diploma of Theological Studies, graduates will be able to:
• Demonstrate advanced theoretical knowledge of Theology in one or more theological discipline
• Critically review, analyse, consolidate, and synthesise knowledge drawn from one or more theological disciplines
• Communicate complex theological concepts to a variety of audiences; and
• Apply theological knowledge and skills with prudence and discernment.
