Master's in Mathematics

Structuring and content

In the Master’s program, you will take modules from four areas:

• Algebra, geometry and topology
• Discrete mathematics
• Computer Science, Numerical Mathematics and Optimization
• Mathematical modeling, statistics and stochastics

You can determine the weighting yourself. 

You will usually complete your studies in the fourth semester with a Master's thesis, which you will write under the supervision of a supervisor of your choice.

Language

All courses in the M.Sc. Mathematics program can be held in English if required.

Permit

The Bachelor's degree program in Mathematics is not subject to any admission restrictions.
