Accredited by The Institution of Engineering and Technology on behalf of the Engineering Council for meeting the requirement for registration as an incorporated engineer and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a chartered engineer.

By completing an IMechE accredited degree, you meet part or all the academic requirements for registration as a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer and are in a strong position to achieve professional engineering status after a period of initial professional development in industry.

This accredited BEng (Hons) fully meets the academic benchmark requirements for registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng). It also meets part of the academic benchmark requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer and you must complete an approved format of further learning to carry out the requirements of UK-SPEC.
