Admission Requirements
Admission to the M.Sc. AI in Society at TUM is determined through an aptitude assessment procedure that evaluates your academic background, relevant experience, and motivation. Academic Requirements
- Undergraduate DegreeA recognized Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a minimum standard period of study of 6 semesters (180 ECTS) in social sciences, political sciences, economics, law, psychology, or a related field
- Mathematics or StatisticsAt least 5 ECTS credits in mathematics or statistics modules completed during the undergraduate degree
- Practical Project ExperienceA practical project of at least 18 credits integrating engineering or scientific knowledge with political, economic, or social science insights
- Minimum Credits for ApplicationAt least 140 ECTS credits completed at the time of application (final degree must be completed before enrollment)
- Aptitude AssessmentSuccessful completion of TUM's aptitude assessment procedure, which evaluates Bachelor's grades, written documents, and motivation
