Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences
Sorbonne Université, France
Overview
The Life Sciences degree courses are designed to enable the acquisition of disciplinary and cross-disciplinary knowledge and skills, within personalized courses. They are taught by research professors from all Life Sciences specialties, who integrate examples chosen based on their scientific expertise into their teaching, particularly by developing research methodology.
The Life Sciences degree benefits from one of the largest technical platforms for practical work in France and draws on the expertise of the three marine stations of Banyuls, Roscoff and Villefranche-sur-Mer.
Students from all courses can complete an optional internship in the summer between L2 and L3, in a laboratory or company in the field of Life Sciences.
In most courses, it is possible to spend a semester or a year on international mobility in L3. Furthermore, in addition to the compulsory English in L2 and L3, English tutorials are offered in certain teaching units, in order to familiarize students with the use of scientific English.
