Orthopedic Prosthetics and Orthotics

The aim of Orthopedic Prosthetics and Orthotics Program is to raise health technicians who are able to make aesthetic and functional prostheses for people who have lost their upper or lower extremities for various reasons, and again to make supportive, aesthetic and functional orthotics to replace the functions for people who have lost their neck, trunk, arm and leg functions.

The program has a 2-year education period and the education language is Turkish.

In the program, practical trainings are carried out in Prosthetics-Orthotics Laboratory along with theoretical knowledge.

Program students gain pre-graduate professional experience with internships in the hospitals of Acıbadem Healthcare Group and other health institutions which are in cooperation with the university.
