Bachelor of Applied Management (BAMgt) Program Overview
The Bachelor of Applied Management (BAMgt) at Saskatchewan Polytechnic is designed for journeypersons and non-business diploma or certificate graduates who want to leverage their existing education and experience into a bachelor's degree with approximately two years of additional study. This unique program addresses Saskatchewan's growing need for qualified managers, as four out of ten people currently working in management in the province are over the age of 55.
You will build knowledge and skills across a wide range of leadership and management disciplines including accountancy, human resource management, business communications, strategic management, leadership development, business analytics, finance, change management, risk management, commercial law, and economics. The program combines theoretical knowledge with applied learning opportunities to ensure graduates are workplace-ready.
Classes are offered both in-person and via Zoom in the evenings, with options each semester for exclusively online courses. This flexibility means you can work full-time while completing your degree, making it an ideal pathway for mid-career professionals seeking advancement into management and leadership roles.
