Saskatchewan Polytechnic is Saskatchewan's primary public post-secondary institution for technical education and skills training, recognized nationally and internationally for its expertise and innovation. The Moose Jaw campus, originally established as the Saskatchewan Technical Institute in 1959, is one of four campuses serving students across the province.
As a polytechnic, the institution provides the depth of learning appropriate to employer and student needs, including certificate, diploma, and degree programs, as well as apprenticeship training. Saskatchewan Polytechnic engages in applied research, drawing on faculty expertise to support innovation and providing students the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills.
With more than 80 programs available to international students, Saskatchewan Polytechnic offers career-focused, applied education across sectors including business, information technology, health, mining, transportation, and more. Programs are developed in consultation with approximately 800 industry experts through program advisory committees.
