Computer Science

The basic cultural preparation will enable graduates to acquire:

- familiarity with the scientific method of investigation;

- the ability to understand and use supporting mathematical tools;

- methodological knowledge and basic skills in a broad range of fields of science and information and communication technologies;

- familiarity with at least one European Union language.

To this end, the first two years of the program, common to all students, include core courses considered essential for the cultural, methodological, and technical development of a Computer Science graduate.

During the third year, in addition to completing their education, students can choose elective courses that best suit their profile, following the proposed supplementary options.

The program concludes with an internship, which can be conducted internally, exploring advanced topics under the supervision of a faculty member, or externally, at companies in the sector, typically participating in software analysis, design, and development activities.

Students enroll at Sapienza University of Rome, and the degree is awarded jointly by Sapienza and Unitelma Sapienza. Courses are delivered through the Unitelma Sapienza e-learning platform and are taught primarily by faculty from the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Mathematics. The

course syllabi, as well as the degree examination committee, are identical to those of the in-person Computer Science degree program.
