MSc Global Public Health and Policy
Mile End Campus (Main), United Kingdom
The Global Public Health and Policy MSc provides a comprehensive training for professionals seeking to influence health policy across multiple scales. The curriculum combines core modules in epidemiology, health inequalities, health systems financing and applied research methods with a selection of elective streams covering anthropology of health, gender and sexuality, health economics, health systems theory, medicines markets and planetary health. Students develop advanced quantitative and qualitative research skills, learn to design and evaluate interventions, and complete a 10,000‑word dissertation addressing a real‑world health policy problem. Teaching involves weekly lectures and intensive seminars, with opportunities for on‑campus study in Whitechapel and participation in global health conferences. Graduates are equipped for careers in public health agencies, NGOs, policy bodies and research institutions, where they can lead evidence‑driven initiatives that promote equity and improve population health outcomes worldwide.
