Overview
At NAIT’s Animal Health Clinic, Veterinary Technology students gain hands-on experience by providing basic veterinary care to dogs and cats owned by NAIT staff and students. This real-world training includes:
- spays
- neuters
- vaccinations
- teeth cleaning
The program also exposes students to a variety of veterinary settings, including farms and animal hospitals. There you’ll work with animals from household pets to livestock and develop the skills to handle ill or injured animals of all shapes and sizes.
