Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) is a public research university located in Rolla, Missouri, and a member of the University of Missouri System. Founded in 1870 as the Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy, it was the first technological learning institution west of the Mississippi River and has grown into one of the nation's leading STEM-focused universities.

Today, Missouri S&T offers bachelor's degrees in 31 fields of study, master's degrees in 32 disciplines, the doctor of philosophy in 23, and the doctor of engineering in eight.
