Child Development

Child Development Program is a comprehensive two-year associate degree that prepares students to support the cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development of children from birth to adolescence. The program is designed to train qualified child development specialists who can work in a variety of educational and healthcare settings, contributing to the healthy growth and well-being of children, including those with special needs.

The curriculum covers a broad spectrum of subjects such as developmental psychology, child health and nutrition, play and creativity, early childhood education, special education, family dynamics, communication skills, and child protection laws. Students learn how to assess child development stages, plan age-appropriate educational activities, and support the individual needs of children in various environments such as nurseries, kindergartens, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals.

Emphasis is placed on both theory and hands-on learning. Students gain practical experience through internships in educational institutions, childcare centers, and pediatric clinics, where they apply developmental techniques, interact with children and families, and observe real-world practices under professional supervision.
