**What Will You Learn?**
Students will develop the skills to join a team of specialists, such as radiation oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists, to deliver appropriate radiation to cancer patients. As a radiation therapy technology major, students will learn how to:
- Prepare the patient and equipment for the delivery of the radiation
- Keep accurate records of the treatment of each patient
- Observe radiation safety and protection procedures
- Assist with treatment & computer planning, which includes the exact location of the tumor and the optimal technique for treatment
