Complete our Construction Management BSc and you’ll gain the necessary knowledge and skills sought by employers within the field.


As a qualified construction manager, you’ll be an integral member of the project team, from inception to completion and beyond. You’ll get to contribute to the development of places where people live, work, travel and play and lead on managing a range of projects, from smaller scale specialist installations to major infrastructure projects.


As you progress through your programme, you’ll develop the valuable skills needed to successfully plan and deliver projects within given timescales, to designated budgets and according to the quality requirements set out by clients. You’ll become an expert in tackling complex operations and play a key role in the success of building projects. Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of your project delivery team and providing sound client advice regarding the feasibility of a wide range of project types are just some of the key responsibilities that this course will prepare you for.


You will expand your planning, execution, problem solving, communication and people management skills, as well as develop skills in design, financing, construction technology, building legislation and business operations. You’ll become an expert in leading ethical and sustainable project delivery within a climate-conscious, low carbon world.


Located in London, you’ll have access to some of the UK and the world’s most influential contractors, developers and industry professional bodies. We have some of the UK’s largest and most important projects right here on our doorstep, including infrastructure projects such as High Speed 2 and Thames Tideway. On this course you’ll have the opportunity to engage with these types of organisations and projects through site visits, guest lectures and fieldwork, keeping you at the forefront of this dynamic sector.
