The MA Sustainable Fashion: Business and Practices at Kingston University London challenges current thinking in the fashion industry by embedding holistic sustainable design and business solutions throughout the curriculum. As a practice-based program, it equips you with the knowledge and skills to effect positive change through creative problem-solving, management expertise, and innovative decision-making.
Delivered within the Kingston School of Art, this program is designed to create systemic change and help combat fashion's unsustainable footprint. You will study the human and environmental impacts of the mainstream fashion system throughout the entirety of the value chain, developing tangible solutions that contribute positively to society, culture, and ecology.
The program is a registered member of the United Nations Education and Academia Stakeholder Group (EASG) in support of the Sustainable Development Goals. Sustainable Design Principles, Perspectives and Practices
30 CreditsExplores key principles and perspectives that inform various practices of sustainability, sustainable development, and sustainable design in both developed and developing world contexts, examining how contemporary design practice relates to the sustainability agenda.
Social Design and Community Partnership
30 CreditsA partnership project with an under-represented community, using fashion as a lens to tackle societal bias and stereotyping while encouraging critical discourse about inclusion, diversity, and representation.

Admission Requirements
The MA Sustainable Fashion: Business and Practices welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds including fashion, business, multimedia, and design.
