We Aim to Train Physicians Who Will Contribute to Scientific Developments

At Istinye University Faculty of Medicine, an integrated system is implemented that includes horizontally and vertically related, structured skill training program subjects, and emphasizes the social and community dimensions of the subjects. The language of instruction is Turkish.

In the first three years, the student is aimed to gain the basic health and disease information required before moving to the clinic. In order to provide contact with patients and clinics, many elective and compulsory practices are carried out. The aim is to ensure that the student is together with patients in different environments before the clinical internships.

The fourth and fifth years consist of clinical internships and rotations. A total of 6 internships and 28 department rotations are included.

The internship training period, which will be given in the sixth year of the education program, is a 12-month practice carried out by different departments as compulsory or elective. During this time, students practice applied medicine. In addition to the 4 basic branches such as Public Health, Internal Medicine, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Child Health and Diseases, and General Surgery, they perform rotations in Mental Health and Diseases, Emergency Medicine, and Elective Internship. Their contributions to the practice and their skills are evaluated.

Our faculty's education program is compatible with the Core Education Program recommended for Medical Faculties in our country. Students can participate in research programs if they wish.

Having TÖMER or Yunus Emre Institute Language Proficiency Certificate at B2 level for undergraduate programs and C1 level for graduate programs

Only TÖMER certificates issued by the higher education institutions listed below will be accepted.
