Overview
Logistics Management is a department that is a combination of two separate disciplines and was established under the roof of Istanbul Gelişim University in the 2011-2012 academic year. With the increase in international trade volume, development of logistics services, and globalization of trade, the qualified human resources gap in the field of international logistics has also increased considerably. In this context, the aim of the program is to provide students with knowledge and skills in logistics, customs management, micro and macroeconomics, international trade, marketing principles, warehousing and inventory, export and import policies, air, sea, land and railway transportation, financial management, labor and social security law, entrepreneurship and SME management, banking, and retail sales.
