Department Goal

Interior Architecture education is a design education and provides students with a new language of expression.

The aim of the Interior Architecture Department is to train well-equipped interior architects who are proficient in color, material and technical application details in interior design and

furniture design, and who can organize construction sites, costs

and workflow, accompanied by social and cultural lessons and activities.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of the Department of Interior Architecture; After completing two summer internships within the four-year education, they can take part in the design, project preparation and implementation processes of complex structures that combine many different functions such as furniture design, fair, display, stand, stage and studio decorations, and more quickly completed projects, from housing to hotels. They can work in their own design offices, in the interior architecture design application and coordination teams of private companies and in project teams in public institutions. They can also choose an academic career by continuing their education after their undergraduate education.

Departments where horizontal transfer is possible

Our university accepts students for associate degree/undergraduate programs through horizontal transfer within the quota in accordance with the "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer Between Associate and Undergraduate Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer".

Vertical Transferable Departments

Graduates of vocational schools can continue their four-year undergraduate education if they meet the conditions in the relevant regulation.
