Program Educational Objectives  (PEO)

Our graduates trained within the framework of this basic purpose;

1) Graduates will continue their education and development in line with scientific freedom.

2) Graduates will continue their careers using the knowledge and skills they acquired in engineering undergraduate programs.

3) Graduates will be known as active participants in a wide range of businesses, community activities/services, or government or public services.

4) Graduates will serve at national and international levels, have self-confidence, have communication skills to create a successful career, and will be able to take an effective and leading role in managing their professional knowledge.

Department Goal

The vision of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is to be a leading education center at national and international levels, in constant development on the path of universal science and contemporary education in the light of the latest technological developments, respectful of ethical values, producing knowledge for the benefit of society by making universal contributions to science and technology.

Student Outcomes  (SO) of the Program

Program graduates gain the following knowledge and skills;

1. Ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. 2. Ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specific needs, considering global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors as well as public health, safety, and welfare. 3. Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences. 4. Ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and to make informed decisions that must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts. 5. Ability to work effectively on a team in which members collectively provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, set goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives. 6. Ability to develop and conduct appropriate experiments, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to reach conclusions. 7. Ability to acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.

Our students who successfully complete the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department can work as electrical and electronics engineers in many public institutions and organizations such as the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, other ministries, EPDK, TEİAŞ, TEDAŞ, EÜAŞ, TRT. In addition, our graduates have the opportunity to find jobs in national, international and private sectors in sectors such as electrical, electronics, communications, biomedical and computers.
