Creative people who have changed the world exist , not only in business, but also in sports, music, and many other disciplines. Many of those who promoted change enjoyed success in life; most of them, therefore, died without fame. All of them occupy the pages of history in fields such as business, sports, and music.

When we hear terms like "a disruptive mind" or "an innovator," we tend to associate them with the image of a visionary entrepreneur who introduces a brilliant idea to the market. That's true, although we shouldn't think these terms are associated with figures as recent as Steve Jobs. Innovation has always existed, and we're highlighting a few individuals who left their mark, beyond any fame they may have acquired for other reasons.
