Cultural Heritage Protection and Management (Master)

The Master’s Program in Protection and Management of Cultural Heritage with Thesis at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University is an interdisciplinary academic platform designed to equip students with the advanced knowledge and practical skills required for the sustainable protection, preservation, and management of cultural heritage assets. Open to graduates from a wide range of disciplines—including Architecture, Interior Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning, Construction, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, Archaeology, Art History, Geology, Law, Sociology, and Public Administration—the program encourages collaborative work among professionals from different backgrounds. This multidisciplinary structure enriches the learning process and reflects the complex nature of cultural heritage management.

Students engage in both theoretical coursework and hands-on projects related to conservation strategies, heritage site management, risk assessment, documentation techniques, legal frameworks, and policy development.
