Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) is a government-funded public higher education institution located in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland. Established in 1971 as Dundalk Regional Technical College, it was redefined as an institute of technology in January 1998 and has since earned a reputation as the leading higher education provider in the North East of Ireland.

Situated on a 90-acre campus halfway between Dublin and Belfast on the Dublin-Belfast economic corridor, DkIT serves the North Leinster and South Ulster region. The institute offers a comprehensive range of programmes from Higher Certificate through to Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral levels across four academic schools.

DkIT welcomes over 600 international students each year, making it one of the most diverse institutes of technology in Ireland. The institute formed a strategic alliance with Dublin City University in 2012 and established the DCU-DkIT Graduate School in 2014, further strengthening its research and postgraduate offerings.
