Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) is a government-funded public higher education institution located in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland. Established in 1971 as Dundalk Regional Technical College, it was redefined as an institute of technology in January 1998 and has since earned a reputation as the leading higher education provider in the North East of Ireland.
Situated on a 90-acre campus halfway between Dublin and Belfast on the Dublin-Belfast economic corridor, DkIT serves the North Leinster and South Ulster region.
