Master in Fashion Management at Domus Academy
The Master in Fashion Management at Domus Academy combines fashion studies with management principles covering buying, merchandising, communication, marketing, distribution, and production. Based in Milan, the global epicenter of fashion, this workshop-based programme prepares you to master the culture and practices of the fashion business and progress to top management positions in the industry.
The programme is guided by industry professionals, programme leaders, and project mentors who provide individual coaching throughout your studies. You will work on real-life professional projects in collaboration with leading fashion brands, gaining valuable hands-on experience directly applicable to your future career.
Students can choose between the Academic Master's Programme (60 ECTS), accredited by the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR), or the Dual Award Master's Programme (90 ECTS), which also awards a Master of Arts degree validated by Regent's University London. Both pathways include an industry placement and a final project.

Curriculum and Modules
The programme consists of five terms, each including a subject module and a workshop module. The fifth term is dedicated to the Industry Placement, and the programme concludes with the presentation of the Final Project. This structure ensures a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application in fashion management.
Fashion Marketing and Management
10 ECTSExamines advanced marketing and management principles, providing strategic frameworks and operational tools to develop comprehensive fashion brand strategies in a competitive global marketplace.
Fashion Brand Management Workshop
10 ECTSPresents the dynamics of brand management in detail and explores various strategies to increase and nurture the value of fashion brands through hands-on projects with industry partners.
Integrated Communication Strategy
10 ECTSCovers the development of omnichannel communication strategies for fashion brands, integrating digital and traditional media to build brand awareness and customer engagement.
Fashion Buying Workshop
10 ECTSFocuses on the key role and responsibilities of a fashion buyer, covering product selection, collection planning, merchandising, and financial analysis for fashion retail operations.
Advanced Business for Design
10 ECTSExplores the intersection of business innovation and creative industries, equipping students with financial literacy, business model development, and strategic planning skills relevant to fashion.
Industry Placement and Final Project
10 ECTSA curricular internship providing hands-on industry experience at a fashion company in Milan or internationally, culminating in a final workshop project that synthesizes all learning outcomes.

Admission Requirements
The Master in Fashion Management is directed at candidates who have a first-level degree and/or professional experience in fashion and accessory design, art, the humanities, economics, and business. The programme is also open to candidates with a background in other disciplines if they demonstrate adequate motivation and interest in the subject area. Up to EUR 8,000Prospective Master's students respond to design briefs set by the faculty in collaboration with partner companies. Scholarships are calculated on the standard tuition fee and awarded based on merit ranking.
DSU (Right to University Study) Scholarship
Variable amount based on financial needFinancial contributions assigned through annual competitions based on specific financial and merit requirements, managed through NABA. May include supplements for students with disabilities and international mobility.
