Cyprus West University (CWU), established on December 8, 2015, is a private non-profit institution located in the heart of Famagusta, Northern Cyprus. Originally founded under the name Yüksek Bilim Üniversitesi (High Science University), CWU has grown rapidly into one of the fastest-growing universities in the region, welcoming students from over 24 countries.

CWU is accredited by YÖDAK (the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination Council of Northern Cyprus) and recognized by YÖK (Turkey's Council of Higher Education). The university currently operates 5 faculties and 3 schools, offering approximately 20 undergraduate, associate, and graduate programs in both English and Turkish.
