Program Overview: Cranfield Transformation MBA
The Cranfield Transformation MBA is an immersive 12-month programme designed for experienced professionals ready to accelerate their leadership careers. Completely redesigned in 2023, the programme places real-world project work at the heart of the curriculum, combining core management modules with international study exchanges and hands-on consultancy projects. As one of the UK's longest-established MBA programmes, celebrating over 60 years of excellence, Cranfield offers a distinctive learning environment at the UK's only exclusively postgraduate university.
The programme offers three distinct career pathways — Executive, Entrepreneurial, and Independent — allowing you to tailor your MBA experience to your specific career ambitions. You will engage directly with real clients, have access to internship opportunities, and spend a month abroad at a partner business school such as ESCP Business School in Madrid or Turin. The curriculum integrates leadership development, one-to-one executive coaching, and access to an Executive in Residence throughout the year.

Curriculum & Modules
The Cranfield Transformation MBA is structured across four terms of approximately 10 weeks each. Core management modules are front-loaded in the first two terms, while electives and career pathway projects are concentrated in the later terms. Students choose from a wide range of elective modules and complete a compulsory consultancy project alongside their academic studies.

Admission Requirements
Cranfield welcomes MBA applications from talented candidates of all backgrounds. Academic Requirements
- Academic QualificationA good undergraduate degree and/or professional qualification. Candidates without a degree may be considered if they demonstrate exceptional career progression or leadership potential.
- Work ExperienceMinimum of three years' post-qualification professional work experience; the typical candidate has five or more years.
- GMAT ScoreMinimum 600 recommended; class average is 680 (or 635 under the GMAT Focus Edition).
- GRE ScoreMinimum 80th percentile for both verbal and quantitative reasoning.
- Alternative Admission TestCranfield Admission Test (CAT) — a two-hour online test covering communication analysis, critical thinking, data analysis, and data interpretation.
