Speech and Language Therapy (English)

During the speech and language therapy education, students engage in an intensive study of the anatomy and physiology of speech, language, and hearing disorders as well as complementary interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary fields such as psychology, linguistics, neurology, and special education. With globalization, English has become a means of universal communication. It has gained importance for following the newest advances in technology and science. Therefore, English language competency is crucial to follow up-to-date literature and developments in speech and language therapy. To meet these global requirements, Biruni University Faculty of Health Sciences Speech and Language Department (English) was established with its strong academic staff, up-to-date education plan. We aim to graduate students who have both strong theoretical background and clinical competency.
