Civil Engineering (English)

The objective of the Civil Engineering Department is to raise civil engineers who will play an important role not only in meeting the infrastructure needs of our country today but also in improving the infrastructures of all developed countries. To this end, the curriculum of the Civil Engineering Department is structured to train engineers who can produce knowledge on a global scale and ensure the use of this knowledge in scientific and technological fields.

Our educational philosophy focuses on developing engineers who are creative, investigative, and open to innovation. Furthermore, the program emphasizes producing professionals who are sensitive to the needs of society, ensuring that engineering solutions contribute positively to public welfare.

The department provides a four-year education, and the medium of instruction is English. English preparatory education is mandatory. Students who are admitted to the department can skip the English Preparatory Class and begin their studies from the first year, provided they are successful in the Placement and Proficiency Exam. This ensures that all graduates possess the high-level linguistic competence required for the international engineering arena.
