Curriculum & Modules
The BSc (Hons) Computing with Foundation Year is structured across four levels. The Foundation Year (Level 3) prepares you with essential academic and STEM skills, while Levels 4 through 6 progressively build your computing expertise through core and elective modules. You will study a total of six foundation modules followed by seventeen degree-level modules across three years, including two elective choices at Levels 5 and 6.
Introduction to Programming

Introduction to Computer Systems and Security

- Personal StatementA personal statement of 350-550 words detailing your motivation for studying the course is required. You may also be invited to attend an interview.
- Non-Standard EntryArden offers non-standard entry, meaning your work experience and previous qualifications are taken into account when assessing your application.
- Technical RequirementsA laptop or desktop PC (latest version of Windows recommended) and a reliable internet connection for accessing the iLearn online platform.
English Language Requirements

- TOEFL iBTScore of 60-78 or equivalent
- Alternative EvidenceEvidence of previous study in English, such as a letter confirming the Medium of Instruction was English, may be accepted
