Biomedical Equipment Technology

In the Center of Advanced Simulation and Education, program students are informed about the indications of the use of many medical devices in the clinic, so that students can learn both the practical operation of medical devices and the effects of medical device problems on the patients, with the help of patient simulators.

CASE is intensively benefited in the first year of program. In the second year of the program, theoretical and practical trainings on tests, calibrations and diagnostics of medical devices are carried out in the Medical Device Test and Calibration Laboratory.

Program students gain pre-graduate professional experience with internships in the hospitals of Acıbadem Healthcare Group and other health institutions which are in cooperation with the university.
