Greenwich’s MSc by Research in Natural Resources is designed for graduates and professionals aiming to deepen their expertise in sustainable development, natural resource management, and sustainability. Learning Experience:

• Teaching Approach: Two-thirds of the program focuses on the research project, allowing students to develop significant expertise. Industry-based projects are encouraged, making it suitable for part-time students.
• Class Size: Small class sizes ensure intimate learning experiences, with around 30 students in MSc programs and small lab sessions of about 6 students.
• Independent Learning: The research project is the primary assessment, with additional study required for taught elements.

Assessment:

• Taught Modules: Evaluated through exams, assignments, and presentations.
• Research Project: Concludes with a written thesis and viva exam.

Support Services:

• Each student is assigned at least two supervisors and a personal tutor for academic guidance.
• Completion of the Research Methods for Postgraduates course in the first term helps refine research skills and methodologies.
