These phenomena are observed, analysed and described quantitatively. In this process, the interplay between theories and experimental results leads to constant further development and helps to transcend the current borders in the science of physics.

In Konstanz experimental and theoretical physics are taught together in the integrated courses and teaching contents are optimally aligned and interlinked with the physics lab courses. The foundations in physics are complemented by courses in mathematics and a broad spectrum of minor subjects.

If you are interested in maths and science, you can take your own individual path to earning a degree in a STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, maths) before at the University of Konstanz by kicking off your studies with the two-semester Go.MINt orientation programme. Our Go.MINt programme lets you get to know our STEM subjects before choosing a specific discipline. The programme then counts towards a bachelor's degree in your chosen field and extends the standard period of study by two semesters.
