Vistula University (Akademia Finansow i Biznesu Vistula) is a non-public academic higher education institution based in Warsaw, Poland. Established in 1991 as the University of Insurance and Banking, it has grown into one of the leading private universities in Poland, offering bachelor's, master's, engineering, and postgraduate programs in both Polish and English.
The university is part of the Vistula Group of Universities, which also includes the Vistula School of Hospitality and partner institutions in Wroclaw, Pultusk, and Olsztyn. Vistula holds prestigious accreditations from ACCA, CIMA, CEEMAN IQA, PMI GAC, and Eurostat, and in 2025 it became a full member of the European University Association (EUA).
With students from over 100 countries, Vistula University is recognized as a leader in internationalization among Polish universities. In the Perspektywy 2024 ranking, it achieved 4th place among the best non-public universities in Poland and 2nd place in the QS Europe ranking for international student diversity.
