The Master of Business Analytics at Victoria University Brisbane equips you with practical, in-demand skills to solve business problems using data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Using open-source environments R and Python, along with cloud platforms such as AWS and GitHub, you will gain hands-on experience turning data insights into business profit.
This program covers key areas including data wrangling and visualisation, predictive analytics and big data, AI and machine learning for business, data security and governance, cloud technology, business data mining and warehousing, and IT project management. You will also complete an Applied Business Project capstone that addresses complex real-world challenges.

Curriculum and Modules
To complete the Master of Business Analytics, you must earn 192 credit points comprising 48 credit points of college core units, 96 credit points of professional core units, 12 credit points for Business Ethics and Sustainability, 12 credit points for the Applied Business Project capstone, and 24 credit points of elective units. Each standard unit is worth 12 credit points.

Admission Requirements
Entry into the Master of Business Analytics at Victoria University Brisbane is open to graduates from any discipline who meet the academic and English language requirements. If you hold an Australian bachelor degree in business or a similar discipline, you may be eligible for 48 credit points of advanced standing, allowing you to complete the program in approximately 1.5 years.
