The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Honours program at the University of Windsor is a four-year degree designed for individuals seeking to prepare for a rewarding career in nursing. In Year 4, you gain independence by working one-on-one with a preceptor, completing a total of 384 hours in both hospital and community settings to consolidate your knowledge and practical skills.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates receive a BScN Honours degree from the University of Windsor and are eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) to become Registered Nurses. Because the NCLEX is the same exam used in the United States, graduates may also pursue employment opportunities across North America without needing to write an alternate licensing exam.
