Overview

The program focuses on the importance of physical activity for psychophysical well-being , promoting active lifestyles through a multidisciplinary approach that integrates knowledge of anatomy , psychology and sports pedagogy . You will acquire practical and theoretical skills to work in a variety of contexts, including sports centers, schools, businesses, and healthcare facilities, with the aim of improving quality of life through compensatory, educational, adaptive, and sporting activities. You will also learn to manage sporting events and carry out consultancy for the promotion of physical and mental well-being.At the end of the course you will know:

methods and tools for the functional evaluation of movement;

the effects of different training and nutrition regimes on health and motor skills;

the functional structure of the various body districts, in particular the respiratory, cardiovascular, and neuromuscular systems, with particular attention to the integrative processes related to physical exercise;

the basic mechanisms of learning and behavior at different ages of life;

the socio-psycho-pedagogical theories underlying psychomotor development and psychophysical well-being.
