Overview
Through this course, you will explore the mechanisms that regulate social organization, the dynamics of social change, and the consequences of these changes, including the creation of new inequalities. The program provides you with a solid multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary foundation , drawing on contributions from fields such as sociology, economics, political science, demography, law, history, anthropology, and psychology. You will learn to "think sociologically" and ask questions about the world around you and its dynamics, while also acquiring essential methodological skills for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative, qualitative, and computational data. Furthermore, by applying the theory you've learned to concrete research examples, you'll learn to interpret social reality through experiences and practices of applied social research , acquiring fundamental knowledge and skills for analyzing and understanding contemporary societies and their changes.
